SASOS builds Openhour — India’s first AI-run, fully autonomous store format. Walk in with the UPI app you already use. Take what you need. Walk out. No queues, no counters, no staff — the store handles everything.
Designed for India: if you can use GPay, you can use Openhour. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Scan the QR at the door with any UPI app — GPay, PhonePe, anything. A small deposit opens the door, and it's credited to your bill.
Cameras understand movement at the wrist. Shelves feel every gram. Your basket builds itself as you shop — put something back, it comes off.
Your bill settles the moment you leave — deposit adjusted, receipt issued. No queue, no counter, no waiting for anyone.
Openhour doesn't guess who took what — it measures, twice, with two independent senses, and reconciles them in real time.
34-joint body tracking follows every shopper's hands — not just their silhouette. Two people at one shelf? Openhour knows whose wrist crossed the line.
Precision load-cell plates under every shelf sense changes down to 15 grams and know exactly which product — and how many — left the shelf.
Weight events and vision events are fused into a single attributed action: who took what, when. Anything ambiguous is flagged for review — never silently guessed.
Everything runs on-site on NVIDIA Jetson edge hardware. Internet slow or down? The store keeps sensing, keeps selling, keeps itself safe.
An unmanned store only works if people trust it at 2 AM. Every trust decision in Openhour is physical, visible, or mathematically enforced.
The door lock holds only while powered. Power cut, fire, emergency — it opens. Safety never depends on software behaving.
The whole store is visible from the street, lit around the clock. Nothing hidden, nothing to wonder about — at any hour.
The optional wallet is prepaid and closed-loop — no bank mandates, no autopay hooks into your account. Load only what you want to spend.
Payments, locks and billing run on deterministic, testable code. AI does the sensing — it never guards the door or touches the money.
SASOS is not one shop — it's an autonomy platform being proven in the hardest arena first: real retail, real money, real customers.
India's first AI-run, fully autonomous grocery store. Grab-and-go, open around the clock, run entirely by the Openhour platform.
Any shop, made autonomous: sensing hardware, AI, payments and remote management as a service. Your shop earns while you sleep — under your own name, powered by SASOS.
24/7 access to essential medicines in every neighbourhood — with the accountability and auditability only a sensor-fused store can offer.
Warehouses, kiosks, frontier robotics — the same fused-sensing core, aimed at whatever India needs to run itself next. Anything possible, we make.
An unmanned store is new here. These are the questions we'd ask too.
No. If your phone has GPay, PhonePe or any UPI app, you can shop at Openhour. The optional Openhour wallet exists for regulars who want ₹0-at-entry and automatic billing — but it is never required.
A small entry deposit — it opens the door and is fully credited against whatever you buy. It keeps the door honest: only paying customers enter an unmanned store.
Every pick is measured twice — by weight on the shelf and by vision above it. When the two senses don't agree perfectly, the item is flagged for human review instead of being silently charged. Every receipt is itemized, and a real person answers billing disputes.
Physically impossible. The door lock holds only while it has power — any power cut, fire alarm or emergency releases it instantly. That's physics, not software, and it can't crash.
The wallet is prepaid and closed-loop: it never connects to your bank account, sets up no autopay mandates, and holds only what you choose to load. Spend it at the store; that's all it can ever do.
Aradhana’s Openhour is being built in Kollam, Kerala — and it opens when it's genuinely ready, not a day before. Want to know the moment it does? Drop us a line.
We install Openhour — the shelves, the vision, the door and the payments — and run the software for you. Your shop stays open 24/7 without a single extra salary. The store even learns what your customers buy. Early partners shape what Openhour becomes.
